Lilypad

Vincent Callebaut, a French-Belgian architect, has designed an ambitious escape for the more ecological sensitive. Lilypad is a floating eco-town that can accommodate over 50,000 people. It is powered by renewable energy, and has a freshwater lagoon that collects and purifies rain water. Homes, offices, and malls fill the mountainous designs. The Lilypad is completely self sufficient but was designed with 3 ports for light commerce and necessary travel.

Tirlobis 65

Want a home on the sea? The Trilobis 65 seems to be the sea lover's dream come true. Part boat, part submarine, part home, this partial-submerged home is now a reality.

Nearly 20 metres long and four stories tall, the Trilobis 65 can accomodate six people at sea.
